The City of Cape Coral announced on Tuesday that it is partnering with Costco Wholesale to bring the first location to the city.

According to the news release, the future Costco is planned to be located at 600 Chiquita Boulevard South. Additional plans include a roughly 165,000-square-foot warehouse and a fueling facility.

The city council will meet and consider an incentive package for the future location at its meeting on Nov. 2. The news release states the package would provide up to $10 million in assistance for the site’s development and impact fees.

An opening date for the store has not been announced yet, and the city said it will depend on Costco’s construction timeline.
