The Brewers have more than their fans cheering them on at the World Series. The team brought more than 400 staffers to Florida, covering the costs for them to watch baseball’s biggest stage in person.

With Game 5 marking Milwaukee’s final road game of the season, nearly the entire organization is there to share in the moment.

Rick Schlesinger, the Brewers’ president of business operations, said getting approval for the trip was simple.

“It was an easy decision. We asked Mark if he would agree to do it, and it took him, you know, five seconds to say yes,” Schlesinger said.

“Hopefully tonight will be, you know, historic and memorable and fun.”

For Brewers captain Christian Yelich, the relationships built throughout the organization help create a sense of family.

“You have like common people that you see around all the time and share good memories, tough memories. And we’ve had both of those over the years here,” Yelich said. “But, you know, I think it creates a closeness and a togetherness and a, you know, a family.”
