Orlando City will open its abbreviated 2027 Major League Soccer season at home against the New England Revolution on Feb. 20, the club announced Thursday.
The Lions will play seven home matches and seven road matches during the 14-game MLS Sprint Season. Their opener at Inter.co Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m., extending Orlando City’s streak of beginning every MLS season at home since joining the league in 2015.
Orlando City’s only scheduled meeting with Florida rival Inter Miami CF will take place April 17 at Inter.co Stadium. The match is set for 5 p.m.
The Lions will finish their home schedule against New York City FC on May 1 before closing the regular season at Charlotte FC on May 8.
Orlando City will also host Toronto FC, the Columbus Crew, Nashville SC and the Philadelphia Union. Its road opponents are Chicago Fire FC, FC Cincinnati, Red Bull New York, D.C. United, Atlanta United FC and CF Montréal, in addition to Charlotte.
Every match will be available on Apple TV in more than 100 countries and regions, with no local blackouts.
The 2027 Sprint Season will run from the weekend of Feb. 19-21 through the MLS Cup playoffs and championship match on Memorial Day weekend. Each club will play its 14 conference opponents once, and the top eight teams in each conference will qualify for the playoffs.
Results will also determine five berths in the 2028 Concacaf Champions Cup. Eighteen clubs — nine from each conference — will qualify for the 2028 Leagues Cup.
Single-match ticket information will be announced later, according to the club. Season-ticket memberships are currently available starting at $145.
The shortened season will serve as a bridge between MLS’ traditional calendar-year schedule and its new summer-to-spring calendar, which begins with the 2027-28 season.
