HALIFAX — A portion of Jacksonville Stage Road will be closed during certain periods over the next several days for paving from the Branch Road intersection to Tucker Road.
During the project, portions of Jacksonville Stage Road will be closed for paving. There will be traffic control flagger personnel, however delays may occur. The town is asking motorists to be patient and use alternate routes where possible.
It is anticipated that the work will be completed from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. during the following days, as necessary and as weather permits: Thursday, Oct. 29; Friday Oct. 30; Monday, Nov. 2; and Tuesday, Nov. 3.
The project consisting of a full reclaim beginning and ending project tapers, a full width shim with 2.5 inch base (binder) and an overlay with 1.5 inches of top coat pavement and shoulder back up.
