Florida voters are reminded of early voting deadlines, mail-in ballot requirements, and in-person voting rules ahead of Election Day on November 3.
Florida voters are being urged to pay attention to critical deadlines and voting options as Election Day approaches on November 3.
Saturday, October 31, is the last day for early in-person voting in all six Southwest Florida counties. For voters who requested a vote-by-mail ballot, election officials recommend not mailing it at this point.
Even if you send it out before Election Day, it must actually arrive at your supervisor of elections office by 7 p.m. Tuesday to be counted.
Instead, voters can take their mail-in ballots to an authorized secure ballot drop-off location or deliver them directly to their county’s supervisor of elections office.
For those who prefer to vote in person, voters can bring their completed or unreturned mail ballot to their polling place, surrender it to election workers, and cast a regular ballot.
On Election Day, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters must cast their ballots at their assigned precincts, not just any polling location.
Florida law requires voters to bring a valid photo and signature ID to vote in person.
