TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Mild and breezy with a few showers Halloween weekend. Another round of showers and storms possible in the middle of next week.

Halloween

A mild start to the day in the 60s. Mostly cloudy for your Halloween. Highs will slowly climb into the low 80s. Warm and humid for any pregame and tailgate plans today.

Trick-or-treating should stay mainly dry. A chance for a few showers mainly toward the end of trick-or-treating. It looks like the best chance of rain will be across the western Big Bend. Overspreading more of the area overnight. Temperatures in the mid-70s.

Breezy with winds between 8 and 18 mph. Gusts to 20 mph.

Showers likely on Sunday

The best chance of rain this weekend will be on Sunday. The day is trending a little wetter. It will not be a washout. Some folks will see several rounds of showers on Sunday. Meanwhile, others may see little to no rain.

Overall, totals should stay under 0.50″ for most of the area. After going most of the month without rain, our lawns will take anything.

A brief break early in the week

High pressure will build in by Tuesday, keeping the rain chances more hit or miss Monday afternoon and Tuesday. Highs will get into the low 80s again with a mix of sun and clouds.

Rain and thunderstorms return mid- to late-week. Warm and humid with highs near 80.

Beach and Boating

Saturday: A chance of rain in the afternoon and evening, and breezy. East winds 10 to 20 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet. Choppy on the bays and protected waters.

Sunday: Occasional showers likely. An isolated thunderstorm is possible. East winds 20 to 30 knots. Waves 4 to 8 feet. Rough on the bays and protected waters.
