BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Detectives from the Osceola Sheriff’s Office have joined the search for a missing 10-year-old girl from South Florida.
According to a news release, the last confirmed sighting of Gabrielle Terrelonge and her mother, Passha Davis, 34, was on June 30. They were seen arriving on a Greyhound bus at the Florida Mall late in the evening.
At the request of the Margate Police Department, Osceola detectives are canvassing abandoned hotels near West US-192, an area the family has frequented in the past.

Investigators say the family has traveled extensively between South and Central Florida, including Orlando and parts of Orange County. They have used Greyhound and Flix buses for transportation.
Terrelonge was first reported missing by her father on Oct. 29 after it was discovered that Davis was incarcerated earlier in the month.
Last week, Davis was arrested on a charge of child neglect without great bodily harm in connection with her daughter’s disappearance.
Investigators have revealed that Davis is homeless and struggles with mental health and substance abuse issues. Despite questioning, Davis has not provided any information on Gabrielle’s whereabouts.
