ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — City leaders says tens of thousands of fans are expected to flood into downtown this week for the Tampa Bay Rays World Series games.
Game 3 is scheduled to start just 8 p.m., Monday, with Game 4 on Tuesday night. If a Game 5 is needed, it will be on Wednesday night at the Trop.
To help fans get around, the city is running several shuttles around the Trop to downtown St. Pete and back.
This will allow for fans to park downtown for much cheaper than near the stadium and catch a shuttle to the stadium.
City officials say parking in downtown St. Pete can be found for about $25. The average price to park at the Trop for the World Series is $150.
