Just last week, the Woodbrook neighborhood honored avid pickleballer Jimmy Petrandis by naming its pickleball and tennis courts after him.
The honor came just before his 91st birthday.

Friends and fellow pickleballers said Petrandis is on the court almost every day and can beat players half his age.
His friends said they wanted to celebrate a man who reminds people that age is no excuse to sit on the sidelines. Their wish – that the courts will always be filled with great games and good friends!
