Orlando Museum of Art presents lecture from National Geographic Explorer George McKenzie Jr.

With the successful reception of the “The Wild Path: Connecting the Florida We Don’t See” exhibit, it’s no surprise that the Orlando Museum of Art is leaning into conservation-focused programming. “The Wild Path” features the work of National Geographic photographer Carlton Ward Jr. and is focused on Florida’s ecosystem.

In early December, OMA welcomes another National Geographic photographer, George McKenzie Jr., for a movie screening and lecture. “Changing the Storyteller: Learning to See Wild Florida” will feature a screening of “The Book of George,” a documentary about McKenzie, and a lecture about his work around the world and in Florida.

“Changing the Storyteller: Learning to See Wild Florida” takes place on Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. and is free.
