A LITTLE gift can make a BIG difference this holiday season and beyond. From November 2 to December 31, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County (BBBS Broward) is running their annual Share the Season giving campaign to help ensure children and families enrolled in their mentorship program feel supported, celebrated and cared for.
“During this season of gratitude, we’re thankful for a community that believes in the power and promise of young people,” said Malena Mendez, President & CEO of BBBS Broward. “Together, we’re creating brighter holidays and brighter futures.”
$25 provides a gift for one child
$50 provides gifts for two children in the same family
$100 provides a meal for a family of four
$150 provides a meal for a family of six
Donors may also enter a custom amount. Gifts of all giving levels are appreciated.
Additionally, Littles enrolled in BBBS Broward who attend various fun, festive events—Harvest of Thanks, Frosty Festivities ice skating outing at Baptist Health IcePlex or during an exclusive shopping experience with their Big or guardian at Macy’s stores in Coral Square Mall, Broward Mall or The Galleria—will each receive one $50 gift card this holiday season.
The tax-deductible donations are not restricted to the Share the Season campaign. Remaining funds after all meals, gifts and gift cards are distributed will be used to support mentoring programs year-round.
