THIS IS A BUSY STREET NEAR GULF MIDDLE SCHOOL SURROUNDED BY HOMES. I SPOKE TO ONE MIDDLE SCHOOLER WHO SAYS SHE WATCHED THAT CRASH HAPPENED WHILE WALKING TO SCHOOL. WE LOOKED UP AND THEN WE SEE LIKE THE CAR FLYING AND I’M LIKE. I LOOKED AT MY FRIENDS ARE LIKE, OH, MY GOSH, LIKE IS THAT >> 13 YEAR-OLD DAVION HAS BEEN ON TO WITNESSES. CRASH CAUGHT SURVEILLANCE VIDEO THIS MORNING. YOU CAN SEE THE DRIVER OF THE WHITE SUV GET THROWN OUT OF THE CAR AFTER IT ROLLED OVER ALONG CIVILIAN PARKWAY IN SOUTH WEST 18TH STREET. AND WE LIKE GRAHAM BECAUSE MY FRIEND WAS ALSO COMING THROUGH. >> THEY WERE LIKE WE’RE MAKING SURE LIKE IF HE WAS OK, 7TH GRADER AND HER FRIENDS JUST FEET AWAY FROM THE WRECK. CAPE CORAL POLICE SAY THAT DRIVER WAS LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO WALK AWAY WITH MINOR INJURIES, BUT JUST DON’T WANT THAT HAPPENED IN HOME OWNERS. I SPOKE TO OFF CAMERA, TOLD ME THEY’VE GONE TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE ABOUT THE ROAD THEY SAY IS A CHAOTIC SPEEDWAY. THEY WANT MORE PATROLS AND SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE GETS HURT.
