Walt Disney World is extending its airport luggage transfer pilot to make travel smoother for guests flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO) on Southwest Airlines.
Starting November 18, 2025, eligible guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels will be able to skip baggage claim and have their checked luggage delivered directly to their resort.
Guests arriving on domestic flights who checked in bags at the departing airport will be able to have a third-party provider, BagCheck, handle transportation of the luggage to the guest’s Disney Resort hotel.
The service mirrors the outbound luggage program that began earlier this year for guests departing from Disney Value Resorts, allowing them to check bags at the hotel for direct transfer to Southwest Airlines at MCO.
Guest Email Invitations
Guests flying Southwest and staying at participating resorts are receiving emails this week introducing the expanded program. The message outlines the new arrival-side luggage service and key registration details:
“This convenient service lets you skip baggage claim and have your checked luggage delivered directly to your Disney Resort hotel. The service will begin operating for flights arriving November 18, 2025 or later. If you’d like to take advantage of the service, your registration window opens 30 days prior to departure and closes 5 days prior to departure.”
A registration link is included in the email for guests to sign up during their eligibility window.
What’s Next
Disney has not yet confirmed which resorts will be included in the arrival program, though the existing departure-side service currently operates at the Value Resorts. The pilot is expected to expand based on guest feedback and operational results.
With this addition, Disney is restoring a level of convenience reminiscent of the former Magical Express luggage delivery system, now in partnership with Southwest Airlines and BagCheck.
