I am ticked off at the city of Orlando for approving and hosting the Electric Daisy Carnival at Tinker Field. It did nothing but create a giant bass beat earworm for Central Floridians. God help those who needed a good night’s sleep for work the next day. How about moving the EDC to a new location? A suggestion: The middle of the Ocala National Forest or Lake Okeechobee.
The NFL will assess a “taunting” penalty against a receiver for waving the football at an opponent he just scored on.  But they will allow, following an interception or fumble recovery, the entire defensive unit to run the length of the field to perform a Busby Berkeley/June Taylor Dancers revue in the end zone. Isn’t that more taunting?
“Great Day in the Country”? Yeah, right!  Are you kidding me? $15 to park at the elementary school, $10 to park at the church, so everyone parks everywhere else. The local businesses may as well shutter their doors. Come on, Oviedo, what is it you’re sponsoring: A great day or great rip-off?
Now that the Sentinel feels the need to post the answers the next day to the puzzles ticks me off! I’m forced to cut the questions out of the paper and save them for the next day to see the answers. Why the newspaper felt the need to change the format ticks me off!

The flip side

I appreciate my neighbor putting up all the wonderful Christmas decorations. He does the work and I’m the audience.  Every year, he slowly adds more so it looks brighter and brighter.
