The United Way School Resource Center (SRC) in Fort Myers is in urgent need of full-zip sweatshirts to help students in the community cope with recent drastic temperature drops.
The center’s current inventory is alarmingly low, and they are launching an online campaign to restock their supply with school-approved options.
Community members can support the effort by purchasing items from an Amazon Wishlist, which will send the items directly to the United Way SRC at 7273 Concourse Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33908. Alternatively, new sweatshirts can be dropped off at the David Lucas Campus.
The United Way School Resource Center serves children in the Lee, Hendry, and Glades School Districts, providing essential clothing, hygiene products, and school supplies. Since August 1, 2025, they have distributed 18,845 items valued at $429,676.
The center encourages the public to either contribute directly through purchases or share the campaign to amplify outreach efforts. With the community’s help, the United Way SRC aims to ensure that no child goes without the warmth they need this season.
