TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – There are dozens of pups who would love nothing more than to head home for the holidays – your home!
Furry Friday is a collaboration between WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center designed to get dogs out of their kennels and into the spotlight in hopes of helping them find their fur-ever families, faster!
Here the dogs we are featuring this week:
MEET BROCK LEE Meet Brock! Brock does appreciate short walks though, not long ones and he follows his nose a lot, soaking in all the sights, sounds and smells along the way. (Julie Montanaro/WCTV)
Meet Brock Lee. We’ll call him Brock for short!
This pup is what dog-lovers affectionately call a tripod.
He’s missing one of his front legs, but it doesn’t slow him down a bit!
Brock does appreciate short walks though, not long ones and he follows his nose a lot, soaking in all the sights, sounds and smells along the way.
If you can offer Brock a lot of fun and a lot of TLC, please visit him at the shelter this weekend!
MEET JACK Meet Jack! Laid back Jack is essentially a 50 pound lap dog – who is not shy about rolling over for an extended belly rub – before hitting the trail. (Julie Montanaro/WCTV)
Meet Jack
This sweet boy is ready to fall in love.
Laid back Jack is essentially a 50 pound lap dog – who is not shy about rolling over for an extended belly rub – before hitting the trail.
Jack likes long walks in the woods and will go just about anywhere as long as he’s with a trusted friend.
As soon as he’s comfortable with you, he relaxes and starts bouncing and bounding along like a puppy even though he’s full grown!
This shepherd mix hasn’t spent much time on a leash, but he’s a quick learner and is looking for a loving loyal companion!
You can meet Jack – and rub his belly – at the shelter this weekend!
MEET LADYMeet Lady! Energetic and enthusiastic, Lady doesn’t let much grass grow under her feet!(Julie Montanaro/WCTV)
Meet Lady!
This spunky girl had to make sure our camera was safe before she showed off her true colors!
Energetic and enthusiastic, Lady doesn’t let much grass grow under her feet!
She loves playing with other dogs and jumping in the play yard pool!
She’ll stop long enough for some treats and a few scratches behind the ears and then she’s ready to explore the world again!
Lady would love an fun-loving family with other pups and big backyard!
You can meet her at the shelter this weekend!
MEET BONNIEMeet Bonnie! If you want the perfect snuggly playful pup – Bonnie is ready to join you! (Julie Montanaro/WCTV)
Meet Bonnie
Apparently Bonnie’s cuteness knows no bounds.
This puppy is all puppy – she loves toys – and playing tug of war.
Bonnie is very wiggly and sweet.
She came into the shelter with a terrible skin condition, but with some TLC and good food, it’s healing … and she’s too busy having fun now to notice!
If you want the perfect snuggly playful pup – Bonnie is ready to join you!
You can visit her at the shelter this weekend!
