Warm and dry stretch settles over Central Florida

  • November 15, 2025

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is in for a toasty stretch, with highs in the low 80s sticking around through at least next week.

Saturday’s forecast calls for lower 80s and upper 70s.

Highs today

Measurable rain isn’t expected over the coming days. Sunshine will take center stage across the region, with only a few pockets of morning fog in a few spots.

Warm, dry afternoons and very little relief from the heat through Thanksgiving.

With all this dry weather, drought is starting to creep up in certain parts of Central Florida. Areas north and west of Interstate 4 such as Marion, Sumter, and Lake counties are now considered “abnormally dry.” If the dryness keeps up, there’s a possibility those drought conditions could spread further east.

Drought Map

Aside from a few early-morning patches of fog, no significant weather hazards are forecast. Cloud cover will be thin, and rain chances are staying near zero. There’s also good news from the tropics: with hurricane season wrapping up at the end of November, there’s currently no tropical development expected over the next several days.
