TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Florida State football fans gathered at the Civic Center parking lot Saturday morning for one last tailgate ahead of the Seminoles’ final home game of the season.
Scott Nyman and his wife traveled from Jacksonville to cheer on the team. Their daughter is an FSU cheerleader, and Nyman says they make the trip for every home game.
Despite the season not going how Nyman hoped, he said they wanted to show their support.

“We are hopeful next year is going to be a much better year cause that’s a part of the sadness is that the year just did not turn out the way we hoped this year, so we just hope the future is bright,” Nyman said.
The Noles fan said that although there was a smaller crowd tailgating Saturday, the energy is still high.
Florida State University is set to kick off against Virginia Tech at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
