JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating two separate deaths that occurred Saturday evening.
At 5:06 p.m. officers were called to 3820 Sunbeam Rd on Jacksonville’s Southside in reference to a deceased individual. Officers located an unresponsive woman believed to be in her 20’s-30’s in the rear parking lot of the business.
She was pronounced dead on scene by Jacksonville Fire and Rescue. JSO said this is an ongoing investigation, and very little information is available.
At 5:30 p.m. officers were called to E. 15th Street on Jacksonville’s Eastside after reports of a deceased individual. Officers located a man in his 20’s-30’s unresponsive on the side of the road.
He was pronounced dead on scene by Jacksonville Fire and Rescue. JSO said the investigation is ongoing and very little information is available at this time.
Both incidents are believed to be isolated and not related in anyway, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding both incidents are being investigated, and the classification of both incidents is pending.
“We will continue to investigate and coordinate our efforts with our partners at the Medical Examiner’s Office and State Attorney’s Office,” JSO said.
