New video in Little Havana captured a brawl breaking out before shots were fired, which led to a woman being injured.
According to Miami Police, officers on Saturday received a ShotSpotter alert at 342 SW 7th Ave.
When officers arrived at the scene, they didn’t find a victim, but then they received another call about a woman who was in the area of Northwest 11th Avenue and 27-28th Street.
When officers found the woman, she suffered from a gunshot wound to her shoulder, and she was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
In the video, it appears to show several teenagers surrounding two others who were fighting. Moments later, several gunshots were heard going off at the corner of 342 SW 7th Ave.
Exclusive video obtained by NBC6 shows a person holding a gun at the first scene.
A witness who was at the park with her children told NBC6 that the incident involved a fight between people inside a black truck and others who were on the street.
Businesses in the area also heard multiple shots being fired next to Riverside Park.
One business owner said he heard eight shots ring out.
Police said the woman was shot at the original location and then she fled to Northwest 11th Avenue and 28th Street, where she called 911.
Her identity was not released, but she is in stable condition.
No suspects have been arrested as the investigation into the shooting remains active.
