The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported that four armed, masked men invaded rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine’s home on Duckweed Road Sunday night, holding his mother outside while demanding cash and car keys.Stay up-to-date: The latest headlines and weather from WPBF 25When deputies arrived, several people inside the home reported that the suspects had entered with handguns. Daniel Hernandez’s mother was held outside while the other suspects ransacked the home, asking for cash and car keys. Deputies said a K-9 searched the home but came up short, and the suspects possibly left in a vehicle before deputies got there. Attempts to contact Hernandez and gain access to the Homeland Equestrian community where he lives were turned away.Previously, Hernandez was the victim of an assault at an LA Fitness in Lake Worth in March 2023. He was left with several injuries, and his attorney said that he had been attacked by three or four people in the gym’s sauna. He was also arrested near the Wellington/Lake Worth border in August 2023 for a suspended driver’s license and an active traffic warrant for failure to appear in court related to a speeding infraction earlier that summer. Hernandez was sentenced to four years probation in October 2018 for using a child in a sexual performance.Hernandez pled guilty after online videos surfaced of him sexually engaging with an underage girl in October 2015. Hernandez was 18 and the minor was 13 at the time of the incident.Subsequently in 2019 while on probation for previous child sex crimes convictions, Hernandez was sentenced to two years in federal prison despite testifying against fellow Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang members. The rapper pleaded guilty to nine federal felonies including racketeering conspiracy, firearms charges, narcotics trafficking, and violent crimes in aid of racketeering.At the time of the rapper’s conviction, the U.S. Attorney General’s Office denounced the “violent New York City gang.”“Nine Trey was a criminal enterprise involved in committing numerous acts of violence, including shootings, robberies, and assaults in and around Manhattan and Brooklyn,” the USAG stated in a written statement. “Members and associates of Nine Trey engaged in violence to retaliate against rival gangs, to promote the standing and reputation of Nine Trey, and to protect the gang’s narcotics business.
