Now sitting at 6-4 on the season, the Jaguars are at No. 17 in ESPN’s rankings — the same spot they were at a week ago.
Similarly, in the AFC playoff picture, the Jaguars remain the seventh seed, but they picked up a game on the Chargers, who are ahead of them in the wildcard race, while also staying ahead of Kansas City, Houston, and Baltimore.
Considering how last week’s game in Houston ended, that only makes Sunday’s blowout victory over the Chargers all the more impressive.
It felt like the Jaguars were at a potential fork in the road, and their response to the adversity they faced says so much about who this Liam Coen-led team is.

Of the Jaguars’ remaining seven games, only three are against teams with a winning record — Denver and Indianapolis twice. The Jets, Cardinals, and Titans — who they play twice — all have three or fewer wins.
