The Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man accused of impersonating a deputy.
Deputies arrested Jayden Williams White, 19, after a resident of the Bristol Parc community issued a report of a man wearing a vest, a firearm, and a radio knocking on their door.
Footage from the resident’s porch camera showed White approaching the home dressed in the gear mentioned above.

According to deputies, the caller said they confronted White after he said that his reasoning for appearing was in reference to a dog attack. The caller noted to deputies that White seemed to lack any law enforcement insignia, prompting their hesitation.
Upon arrival, deputies confronted White and asked him to present his credentials. He allegedly claimed to be a corrections deputy and provided a false name to deputies.
Deputies then apprehended White and confiscated his vest, holster, and an airsoft handgun.
He was then arrested and charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer and providing false ID to law enforcement.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office provided body camera footage of White’s arrest on their Facebook page.
