LARGO — Duke Energy Florida will deliver a nearly 304,000-pound transformer to its Largo substation Thursday, Nov. 20 as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the regional power grid.
The delivery is scheduled between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will cause intermittent traffic delays along the route, which includes 22nd Avenue N, 34th Street N (U.S. 19), Fifth Avenue N, Florida 693, 66th Street N, Ulmerton Road, Starkey Road and East Bay Drive.
