Lee County Supervisor of Elections Tommy Doyle has announced his retirement.
Doyle confirmed the news through a text message to anchor Chris Cifatte on Wednesday morning.
“After careful consideration, I have decided it is time for me to step down and embrace the next chapter of my life: retirement,” said Doyle.
He expressed confidence that the Florida Supervisors of Elections will continue to serve communities with passion and dedication.
“I have no doubt you will continue to achieve great things,” said Doyle. “Thank you all, and I wish you the best in your future endeavors.”
Doyle’s last day will be Jan. 14, 2026.
