A large group photo of approximately 50 people gathered outdoors in front of an industrial building with blue siding. An open garage door behind the group reveals large stainless steel brewing tanks. To the left stands a blue tent labeled "City Bike Tampa," and to the right is a black tent for "Coppertail Brewing Co." It’s the baste time of year to give back, and Cranksgiving Tampa—tripling as a bike ride, scavenger hunt, and food drive—is helping families put dinner on the table this Thanksgiving.

The organization has donated approximately 22,000 pounds of food—including 661 frozen turkeys—to Metropolitan Ministries over its 14 years.

There is no entry fee, but participants are expected to purchase food for the hunt, where they’ll ride alone or in groups with a list of Tampa Bay grocery stores and items to buy. Once they reach the finish line, their items will be tallied and donated to the Metropolitan Ministries holiday tent in downtown Tampa.

Cranksgiving Tampa 2025 happens Sunday, Nov. 23 from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at Coppertail Brewing Co. in Tampa.
