The search for a missing 10-year-old girl has shifted primarily to the Central Florida area, with the girl’s father going along with police as they hunt for clues.

Gabrielle Terrelonge was last seen with her mother, Pasha Davis, in June in Orlando. Davis is in the Broward County jail, charged with child neglect, but her daughter is nowhere to be found.

Davis has been uncooperative from the start, refusing to tell investigators what happened to Gabby or where she might be.

Gabby Terrelonge was last seen on June 30, getting off a Greyhound bus at the Florida Mall in Orlando

“We’re following leads in Orlando, we’re trying to find her last location,” the girl’s father, Gordon Terrelonge, told NBC6 via Zoom on Wednesday.

He spoke while a Margate Police detective sat next to him. Terrelonge said they searched places, such as an abandoned hotel, that Davis and Gabby were known to have used for shelter in the past, as Davis was frequently homeless.

“I have hope, I have more hope today than I did last time we spoke, and last time we spoke, I was, desperation, feeling like the worst, but there’s a lot more hope today,” Terrelonge said. “Because some of the information we got is good and it should lead us to something, to some type of information or clues to know what really happened, or where she is, her location, whereabouts.”

Terrelonge also spoke at a news conference in Orlando, pleading for help, hoping someone might come forward with news about Gabby.

“If she’s out there and she can hear me now, we’re gonna find you, just hold on,” he said in front of reporters.

Terrelonge said Davis holds the keys to unlock his misery.

“It’s the worst feeling you could ever go through in life, where you just wanna go in the corner and hide, but you can’t, and you want to have someone magically tell you what’s going on, and you don’t know what to do about it, you know?” he said, referring to Davis, who is not talking.

Margate Police said they are revisiting every lead, hopeful that shaking the trees will bear fruit and that Gabby will be found safe and sound.
