The Jacksonville Jaguars were back on the practice field on Wednesday in preparation for their Week 12 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.
With the Jaguars‘ releasing their first injury report of the week, here’s the latest practice status update on wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. as of Wednesday.
Brian Thomas Jr. practice status update
Thomas Jr. was on the practice field Wednesday as a limited participant.
A week ago, he was limited all three days before being listed as questionable on Friday. However, prior to kickoff against LA, Thomas Jr. was ruled out.

He suffered the ankle injury in Week 9 and has missed the last two games.
Prior to Wednesday’s practice, Liam Coen briefly addressed a few injuries that the Jaguars are navigating currently.
Brian Thomas Jr.’s stats this season
Thomas Jr. has showcased that playmaking ability of his this season, but inconsistency has been an issue as well.
He’s averaging 14.0 yards per catch but has caught just 51% of his 59 targets, with dropped passes being a problem at times, according to PFF.
Jaguars wide receiver depth chart
With Thomas sidelined on Sunday, Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, and Tim Patrick were the top three on the team in snaps. The trio combined for 10 receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown.
Dyami Brown would play 19 snaps, with his role reduced for the second game in a row.
