TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – This afternoon was a record-breaker with highs reaching the mid-80s. Tomorrow will be near-record as well.
Temperatures are likely to reach record numbers once again tomorrow. The forecast high for Tallahassee is 84, which is the record set back in 1941. Outside of the heat, mostly sunny skies will continue. Winds start from the northeast, switching to southerly from the sea breeze. The cooler waters will keep the coast on the cooler side.
Friday, there will be more clouds that should keep temperatures in the low 80s, as opposed to the upper 80s. Rain is not expected.
Heading into your weekend, a cold front will approach the area, but the rain chances from that look slim at best. Although some spots may see a shower or two, meaningful rainfall is not likely. This means the drought will continue. Temperatures in the 80s during the daytime and morning lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.
