PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — It was a busy weekend in Port St. Lucie, where police dismantled two separate criminal escapades involving couples who, as the department quipped, “commit crimes together, do time together.”
Couple #1: Airbnb Party Gone Wrong
On Saturday night, the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) said its officers responded to multiple disturbance calls at a home near 500 Kilpatrick Avenue, and NW Corchester Street. The home, which PSLPD said was rented through Airbnb, was hosting an open house party with more than 200 juveniles in attendance. Police said it discovered rampant underage drinking and even a cover charge for entry.
The hosts, 56-year-old Rosema Isaac and her boyfriend 39-year-old Logard Thilus, were fully aware of the illegal activity, according to PSLPD. Both were arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and transported to the St. Lucie County Jail.

Couple #2: Sticky Fingers for Spider-Man
On Friday night, a traveling couple from Michigan found themselves in hot water for a far less glamorous crime. PSLPD said that 30-year-old Heather Walden and 23-year-old Steven Walden were arrested after stealing Marvel Spider-Man Collector Omega Booster cards valued at $574.14 from a local Walmart.
The pair, who were living out of their RV parked in the store’s lot with their two cats, were taken into custody without incident. The cats were safely transferred to animal control, according to PSL. A criminal history check revealed both suspects had active, non-extraditable warrants in Michigan for shoplifting and fraud. They now face local theft charges and were booked into the St. Lucie County Jail.
Police summed up the weekend with a light-hearted remark: “It’s not our ideal way to have fun on a double date, but to each their own.”
