Miami has the advantage on talent, and they’ve been favorites in every game other than the opener. This trend continues this week.

To me, the line is fine. Both teams are hot, and playing for a chance to potentially make the ACC Championship Game. The talent is there. The extrinsic motivation (ACCCG and a potential CFP berth) is there. And that sets the stage for a potentially epic game this weekend. That being said, Miami SHOULD win by about a touchdown, but that victory will be earned on the field.

This is really the same old story for Miami. The Canes have been favorites in the last 11 regular season games. They were only an underdog in the opener against Notre Dame, AND THEY WON THAT GAME (though the CFP committee would have you believe otherwise). In any event, it’s up to Miami to play to the standard and continue the business of winning. Or not.

That’s the line. Share your thoughts in the comments. We’ll talk more about this game throughout the week ahead.
