Kenneth Eugene Johnson was born in Tallahassee, Florida, on Nov. 12, 1925.
He served as a paratrooper during World War II — the first time he ever rode in an airplane, he had to jump out of it!
After returning home, he married Marjorie Johnson, and together they have shared 74 years of marriage, celebrating their most recent anniversary on Aug. 28, 2025.
They have two children, two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. The family will gather later this month to celebrate Johnson’s 100th birthday.
