TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – With Thanksgiving just around the corner on Thursday, WCTV has compiled a hearty list of spots throughout the Big Bend and South Georgia where residents can enjoy a free holiday meal. A few Thanksgiving food distributions are also included.

BIG BENDTallahassee: Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church at Dawkins Pond is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Walker Ford Community Center, located at 2301 Pasco Street in Tallahassee.Tallahassee: Confidence Cuts is holding its Thanksgiving food drive giveaway at the Kearney Center from 10 a.m. to noon. Thursday.Tallahassee: The Salvation Army is holding its Thanksgiving Community Dinner Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2410 Allen Road. Tallahassee: Second Harvest of the Big Bend and Keiser University partner to offer free Thanksgiving meal deliveries. Meals will be delivered the day before Thanksgiving. To sign up, call Big Bend 211.Madison: Second Harvest of the Big Bend and United Way of the Big Bend are holding a Thanksgiving food distribution Tuesday from 10 a.m. until food runs out at the Madison Ag Center, located at 184 NW College Loop.Monticello: Second Harvest of the Big Bend and United Way of the Big Bend are holding a Thanksgiving food distribution Tuesday from 2 p.m. until food runs out at the Monticello Public Library, located at 75 S Water Street. SOUTH GEORGIAThomasville: Project Backyard is allowing residents to dine in and enjoy a free Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the old Thomasville High cafeteria, located at 315 S Hansell Street. A free winter clothes giveaway will also be happening. Valdosta: Pedros Tacos & Tequila is holding its annual free Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday from 6 until supplies last. Valdosta: Second Harvest of South Georgia is holding its annual Thanksgiving for Thousands food distribution Tuesday, starting at 7:30 a.m. at Valdosta High School.
