The Shorebreak rooms are super stylish and comfortable with a retro/throwback vibe. During my first visit, there was more than enough space for my partner and I to spread out, with a big comfy bed, couch seating area and a desk area for working or eating. And then on my second visit, we shared a room with two of our friends—and we didn’t feel cramped at all. There was plenty of floor space (and, more importantly, closet space) to go around.
Everything about the decor was adorable (especially the light blue retro mini fridge), with a nostalgic ’50s Florida vibe. My friend kept saying, “It’s so cute here.” But there were also all the modern comforts I’ve come to expect from a Kimpton, including a Bluetooth speaker, yoga mats and a pre-packed beach bag so I could grab and go when I wanted to walk the two short blocks to the water.
Another plus? The bathroom was massive, with a sleek and sexy shower (perfect for unwinding with a hot—or cold—rinse after an active day of sipping and shopping).
