Police are investigating after residents in Port St. Lucie reported a group of people tried breaking into their home.Lance Rain and his fiancée told WPBF 25 News that their home security cameras caught most of the incident. The video appears to show a group of people approaching the front door, with two of the men armed. “Them boys kicked my door in guns blazing, threatening my life and my fiancee’s life,” Rain said. Rain said the group showed up, demanding that Rain and his fiancee let a former roommate gather her belongings. However, he said they refused to answer the door when they heard the door being kicked and looked at their security footage. “I don’t have protection like that. I don’t own no gun. I got no protection,” he said. The video shows one man kicking the front door several times. A few seconds go by before the same man appears to flash a gun. I was afraid for my life,” he said. Rain and his fiancée called 911 and waited for officers with the Port St. Lucie Police Department to arrive. He said that by the time police arrived, the men in the video had run off. WPBF 25 News reached out to the PSLPD for the police report but was told the investigation is active and it is unable to release it at this time. “I want them to learn their lesson. Become a grown man. I want them to go to jail.
