Another year, another art-filled affair this Miami Art Week! Being in the center of the art world, plenty of local and international artists are populating the city with numerous installations. While there are tons of fun new works to discover, attending all these events and fairs can tend to get a little pricey. That’s why we’ve gathered some of the best free art you simply can’t miss out on this year.
That being said, here’s a rundown of the best public art and events entirely free to visit. Happy Baseling!

On the sands of Miami Beach, directly behind Faena Hotel, you’ll find a 50-foot rotating sculpture by British artist Es Devlin. The interactive piece houses 2,500 influential books and sits within a circular reflecting pool surrounded by a 70-foot-wide reading table. Visitors are invited to read Devlin’s personally annotated books while their seats slowly revolve, fostering a sense of community reflection. This monumental piece is part of Faena Art’s Art Week programming, marking their 10th anniversary in the city this year. Read more.
The Betsy Orb, No Vacancy, Portal to Niña by LIZN’BOW (Liz Ferrer and Bow Ty)
Don’t miss the latest edition of No Vacancy! This free, city-wide juried art competition, presented by Miami Beach in collaboration with the Miami Beach Visitors and Convention Authority and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, showcases the work of 12 local artists in a truly unique way. Each have taken to 12 different hotels across the city to create site-specific installations, encouraging visitors to discover free inspiring art and new venues. Find a list of locations here.

When: Now – April 2026
Where can you find sculptures of a bubblegum-pink inflatable man, a bronze couch with endangered animals and a mirrored human face? Only on Lincoln Road, of course! The open-air promenade has unveiled its Art Week lineup, with 14 works from renowned talent including Philippe Katerine, Gillie and Marc, Rubem Robierb and inaugural Call to Artists winner Oscar Esteban Martinez.
At the center is Katerine’s “Mr. Pink Takes Flight,” featuring five pink inflatables ranging from 12 to 20 feet, turning rooftops and sidewalks into whimsical art pieces. These playful characters, named “Monsieur Rose” (Mr. Pink), embody the artist’s philosophy of cuteism, transforming the city with delightful attractions. Learn more.

Returning to Wynwood Marketplace, HIVE is one of the city’s most dynamic and free Art Week experiences, transforming into an immersive village combining art, music and culinary creativity. Spanning for four days, the pop-up will feature local vendors, live art, photo ops, and thrilling skate activations. Not only is entry to HIVE free, but the first 250 guests to check in daily receive a complimentary drink before 9 p.m., with an RSVP. Learn more.
Gargantua’s Thumb by Katie Stout

When: December 2025 – Spring 2026
Named this year’s Annual Design Commission winner in collaboration with Design Miami Curatorial Lab, artist Katie Stout is transforming Miami Design District into a fantastical display featuring a playful cast of sculptural furniture. Think a whale, mermaid, alligator, turtle, horse and more, all anchored by an interactive carousel at the heart of the neighborhood. Hundreds of colorful flora-and fauna-embedded orbs will also be suspended throughout the trees, adding to the spectacle.
CHROMA 2025: Vital Impulses in Contemporary Art

Kicking off Miami Art Week on December 3rd, CHROMA 2025 returns to Lucid Design District with a diverse array of works by 22 international artists, curated by Graciela Montich, and live painting by Kevin M. Fletcher as well as a DJ-percussion performance by Dholi Ram. The moment continues on December 5th with “Vino & Arte,” featuring fine Italian PDO Wines, light bites from Borti Pasta Bar, and a live interactive painting demonstration by Nadine Vogel. Admission to the contemporary art exhibition is free with RSVP.
REVOLT Art Fair

REVOLT Art Fair is back at Ice Palace Studios with a completely free and open-to-the-public event, ensuring a world-class art experience without barriers. Themed “Dual Currency — Defiance by Design,” the fair will showcase works from 55 multidisciplinary Black artists from across the African diaspora, including local Miami creators. Installations feature photography, sculpture, mixed media, immersive sound journeys and a large-scale digital exhibition.
The grand finale, REVOLT House, takes place on closing night (December 6th) merging art, music and community while powered by Miami’s own DJs PeeWee, Vybz and Pat Lax.
The Littlest Art Fair at Little Havana

Offering an “authentic, intimate and local alternative” to the high-dollar spectacle of Miami Art Week, the Littlest Art Fair is a new, four-day mural festival spotlighting homegrown talent in historic Little Havana. Driven by artist Daniel Fila (Krave), whose art space El Fresco is a vital incubator for local artists, the free festival features live mural installations, artist panels, music and more.
Key events include a kickoff micro-art fair at El Fresco on December 2nd, an “Art at the Intersection of Law and Technology” panel on December 4th and a high-energy “Secret Walls: Littlest Art Battle” between LA and Miami artists on December 6th, culminating with “The Littlest Mural Tour” on December 7th.
Paws & Palettes with Danny O
Pup Portraits by Danny O’Connor
When: December 2, with two sessions on 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 – 9 p.m.
Hotel Continental is teaming up with artist Danny O’Connor for a fun and free event where artistry meets animal lovers. Guests are encouraged to bring photos of their beloved pets for O’Connor, known for his cartoon-inspired canvases celebrating American leisure, to sketch on custom stationary. To “re-paw-duce,” if you will. The event takes place on the hotel’s pool deck, where attendees can relax poolside and enjoy chilled drinks and bites from Divebar.
borderline at The Goodtime Hotel

The Goodtime Hotel will be home to borderline, a collaborative exhibition celebrating the talent of South Florida artists, in partnership with Queue Gallery, Supermarket Gallery and Miami Art Society. It includes never-before-seen works from 11 established and emerging creators across various mediums, including painting, sculpture and photography, inviting audiences to “linger in the in-between.”
IKEA Open House Miami

For the third consecutive year, IKEA returns to the city for an engaging pop-up! This time around, the IKEA Open House will serve as a launchpad for the brand’s new global collection, GREJSIMOJS — focused on integrating play into everyday items — while also announcing the ‘Color of the Year.’ Visitors can expect an interactive and photo-worthy experience filled with vibrant design, delicious food and plenty of surprises.
