This year, the Jacksonville Zoo’s Colors of the Wild returns — more vibrant, immersive, and interactive than ever. The event debuts an all-new collection of lanterns that redefine wonder, inviting guests on a luminous journey from underwater realms to the sweeping African plains and into the mystical world of legendary Asian creatures.
Each scene glows with radiant color and dazzling light. Visitors can also stroll through a shimmering Winter Wonderland, where every lantern tells a story of nature and the magic that connects us all.

When is ‘Colors of the Wild’ open at the Jacksonville Zoo?
Colors of the Wild debuted Nov. 22 at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, officially kicking off the holiday season. The event continues on select nights through February 8, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Want to meet Santa at the Jacksonville Zoo? Here’s when you can see him
