Record Store Day has become so popular that the annual April holiday for audiophile shopaholics has decided to expand into the biggest shopping day of the year with Record Store Black Friday. Black Friday, of course, is the day after Thanksgiving which falls this year on November 28, when early planners look to get their holiday shopping started.
Just like the big day in April, Record Store Black Friday features all kind of limited edition vinyl, only available on that day. This year’s batch include reissues of everything from the Rolling Stones Their Satanic Majesties Request to a Billie Eilish live EP to The Big Top Pee-Wee Original Soundtrack Album by Danny Elfman. To make the day even more special local record stores have all kinds of activities to celebrate. Here’s what you can expect.
