JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – One of Northeast Florida’s most popular holiday attractions will return to Jacksonville Beach on Wednesday.
The beloved community event Deck The Chairs (DTC) will have 70 decorated chairs on display. Plus, a nightly light show will illuminate downtown Jacksonville Beach hourly from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
There will be two DTC Christmas Markets on Nov. 29 and Dec. 6 adjacent to the main JBDTC exhibit.
The free, six-week holiday event will also feature four free daytime visual arts activities for kids, including an opportunity to “Deck The Light Show” on opening day, “Deck Duuuval,” “Deck with Scotie Cousin,” and “Deck with Santa.”
News4JAX went to Jacksonville Beach Wednesday morning, where people were hard at work setting up the decorated chairs to get them ready for the evening.
