Best friends Kingsley III and Johnny Champagne recently came together to form Cigar City Records, described as a label by artists, for artists that “cultivates the creative spirit within all through radical love and revolutionary art.”

The group hasn’t blown up quite yet, but hopefully this introductory gig down the street from Busch Gardens will lay the groundwork for future legends.

The founders and their own musical projects will be present Friday night, with a grand “Ciggy City” finale that will feature a supergroup mashup of select artists from the collectives in the house.

Tickets are $17.49 for Welcome to the Blocc: Aliqua w/Tha Banned/Pilot Jonezz/Ciggy City/Kayliøn, happening Friday, Nov. 28 in Tampa.
