Weston Jewelers has been serving its Fort Lauderdale customers with a blend of experience and expertise in fine jewelry and high horology delivered with the family-owners Floridian hospitality for quarter of a century.

Owner and CEO Ed Dike grew up in the jewelry business working alongside his father, first on Long Island, NY, and later in Miami before opening his own store, with his wife Tracey, in Weston Town Center, a small outdoor mall to the east of Fort Lauderdale where the city butts up against the Florida Everglades.

The family, now joined in the business by daughter Danni and son Jesse, have expanded from a single unit mom and pop jeweler into a business running a Rolex-anchored watch and jewellery showroom in their original Weston Town Center home, in addition to a second multibrand and a Hublot boutique inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, — a local landmark built in the shape of a guitar.

Weston Jewelers has two stores in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Seminole in Hollywood, Florida.

Clearly a team unafraid to think big, the Dikes family have now unveiled a plan to build the biggest watch and jewelry emporium in the United States, and possibly the world, with a 40,707 square foot, five-storey store slated to open late in 2027.

The building will mark the family’s first move into the center of Fort Lauderdale, and has been given the green light by Rolex, which has been announced as its anchor brand.

The mixed use property will devote three floors to retail, but will also have a fine dining rooftop restaurant.

An architectural rendering of the development shows how floor-to-ceiling windows and multiple outdoor balconies and terraces will take full advantage of its location in the Sunshine State.

Fort Lauderdale is built on interconnected canals, and the building has its own jetty on the water allowing for arrivals by boat.

A Rolex green glass wall, towering through two floors, can be seen at its heart, and the first three floors appear to be a mixture of bright and open showcases, event spaces and more intimate areas for private consultations.

“We are beyond excited to build our new flagship location in the heart of Downtown Fort Lauderdale,” says Ed Dikes, CEO and Co-Founder of Weston Jewelers.

“This dream has been years in the making, and we’re so grateful to our incredible team and loyal clients whose support has helped make this possible. We look forward to becoming part of the Las Olas community and continuing to build meaningful relationships in this new luxurious location.”

Rolex is the only brand that has so far been announced, but Weston Jewelers on Las Olas is promising a line-up of the finest Swiss timepieces and designer jewellery from the world’s most celebrated brands and a dedicated bridal studio.

Weston Jewelers current portfolio of watch brands includes Rolex, Cartier, Breitling, Chopard, Omega, Tudor and TAG Heuer.

Weston Jewelers says the project, when complete, will deliver the brand’s signature aesthetic of sophistication, warmth, and hospitality in a relaxed, enjoyable environment.

“We feel so fortunate to share significant milestones in our clients’ lives, from engagements to anniversaries, while watching generations of families grow with us,” says Tracey Dikes, President and Co-Founder.

“We cannot wait to welcome both long-term clients and new visitors to experience Weston Jewelers on Las Olas.”
