TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Leon County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement have canceled a Purple Alert for a missing Tallahassee man.
According to LCSO, 75-year-old Joseph Cheatham was found deceased inside his car around 4:50 a.m. in a parking lot near the Bass Pro Shop off Mahan Drive.
A spokesperson with LCSO confirmed that no foul play is suspected.
Those traveling in this area might see a law enforcement presence, but LCSO says there is no threat to the community.
