The Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral will host its Holiday Festival of Lights from 4 to 10 p.m. Dec. 6 along Cape Coral Parkway, from Del Prado Boulevard to Candia Street. The opening ceremony begins at 5:45 p.m., followed by Santa’s arrival and the city’s tree lighting at 6:15 p.m. Cape Coral Parkway will close at 4 a.m. that day for event setup and will reopen at 2 a.m. Dec. 7. Festivities include a snow slide, a children’s train ride, Candy Cane Park, four entertainment stages and more than 70 food, craft and business vendors.
