ORLANDO, Fla. – News 6 on Friday will help the city of Orlando light up Lake Eola Park’s Christmas tree.
You can join News 6 chief meteorologist Candace Campos, traffic safety expert Steve Montiero and Orlando community correspondent Mike Valente, who will be on hand to illuminate the iconic 64-foot tree, which will be adorned by 88,000 animated lights.
Festivities begin at 5 p.m., with the tree-lighting ceremony scheduled to take place about three hours later.
The event includes holiday performances at the Walt Disney Amphitheater, food trucks and a holiday market on International Plaza at Lake Eola Park.
