Like every other team in America, the Miami Hurricanes are deep in the 2026 recruiting cycle, communicating with prospects and trying to add top level talent to the roster for the years to come.

With Mario Cristobal as head coach, Miami’s recruiting is on a level that hasn’t been seen in many years. Under Cristobal, Miami has secured the number 6, 8, and 13 classes in the last 3 years, and look to add even more talent to the program this cycle.

Leading up to the Early Signing Period, Miami is in the top 10 in recruiting ranking. Even with a top 10 class currently committed leading up to NSD, Miami will look to add some blue chip talent to the group as this cycle moves toward its conclusion.

Last year was a very good class for Miami. Ending at 13th in the composite rankings on 247sports, Miami not only got top-end talent on the roster in this class, they used those players to great success. With tons of true freshmen snaps, and one true freshman almost certain to be named the ACC’s Rookie of the Year — WR Malachi Toney — Miami not only brings in elite talent, the Canes play them early and reap the benefits of that talent. And, the next group is on the way.

Here is our Story Stream, with plenty of recruiting commentary and analysis, all about the Canes’ recruiting efforts through the end of the 2026 cycle. Miami already has a very good class committed, but a key addition or two could really push it over the top. And, when adding this group to the 2023, 2024, and 2025 classes that Miami signed recently, the foundation is set for a very good Canes team now but more importantly for the future.

Welcome back to the wonderful world of recruiting, Canes fam!
