A water main break near Doris Avenue and Henderson Drive may cause low pressure or temporary service interruptions for nearby customers as crews work to make repairs, according to the City of Jacksonville.
City officials said crews are on site assessing damage and beginning repair work. Homes in the areas of 303–407 Doris Avenue, 809–915 Vernon Drive, and 808–810 Clyde Drive may experience fluctuating water pressure or loss of service during the process.
Repairs are estimated to take roughly six hours, the city said.
Traffic along Doris Avenue is being rerouted using Clyde Drive and Henderson Drive. Drivers are urged to follow posted traffic-control signs.
