COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Frontier Airlines has announced a new nonstop service from John Glenn Columbus International Airport to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Frontier said in a press release on Thursday.

Set to begin on Mar. 8, 2026, the service will operate three times a week, with introductory fares starting at $49.

“There’s a lot to be excited about as we head into 2026—from expanding our network to rolling out our new First Class experience – and we’re thrilled to offer Columbus-area consumers even more affordable flight options as we continue to grow with new nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale,” Josh Flyr said, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines.

The airline is also introducing several enhancements, including UpFront Plus seating, unlimited companion travel for its most loyal customers, and a new First Class option, debuting in early 2026, according to the release.

Frontier’s frequent flyer program, FRONTIER Miles, offers a 10X multiplier on miles earned per dollar spent, with elite status attainable at 10,000 points.

The promotional fare offer requires tickets to be purchased by Dec. 10, 2025, for travel between Mar. 6 and Apr. 13, 2026.
