As Nashville International Airport continues to see rising passenger traffic, airlines nationwide are committing to more routes in and out of BNA.

Denver, Colorado-based Frontier Airlines announced Dec. 4 that it will add a new nonstop route from Nashville to Phoenix, Arizona, next spring.

The Phoenix flight makes 10 new routes planned at Nashville International Airport over the next three months, with airlines ranging from Avelo and Southwest to Delta and American. It also takes ultra-low-cost Frontier from six Nashville airport nonstops to seven. Frontier Airlines Vice President of Network and Operations Design Josh Flyr said he expects more growth to come.

“There’s a lot to be excited about as we head into 2026 —from expanding our network to rolling out our new First Class experience — and we’re thrilled to offer Nashville-area consumers even more affordable spring break flight options as we continue to grow with new nonstop service to Phoenix,” Flyr wrote in a statement.

Less than a year ago, Frontier added its fifth and sixth nonstop destinations from Nashville with routes to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

The Phoenix flight will be a limited service, meaning it will run four times a week starting on March 6 and ending later in spring 2026. Frontier said the flight will meet demand for spring break travel between Phoenix and Nashville.

This is not the first time Frontier has offered a Phoenix-Nashville connection. It previously flew the route for a short period of time in 2023.

Fares start at $69 for trips booked before Dec. 10 for travel from March 6 to April 13.

What other new flights are coming to Nashville?

In addition to Frontier’s Phoenix route, nine other new nonstops will touch down in Nashville over the next few months, including both domestic and international destinations.
