I am so ticked off at the supposed Macy’s parade. It has turned into a three-hour commercial for Broadway and other singers. The high school bands have to rush in and then they cut them off for a commercial. I can remember sitting and watching all the bands and floats as a child. I don’t think a child would find this broadcast the least bit interesting. Macy’s should be more like the Rose bowl parade.
I tried to call AAA about a battery jump. Got a text message and entered my account number twice.  Didn’t work!  Try to reach a person … I’ve had AAA since 1994.
I’m ticked off nobody ever stops to consider what happens if we don’t change the clocks twice a year. If we stay on standard time (currently early November-early March), we will have sunrise before 5 a.m. in the summer. If we stay on daylight saving time (currently early March-early November), we will not see the sun until nearly 9 a.m. during parts of winter. The inconvenience of those extremes far outweighs the inconvenience of the clock change two days per year. We tried this once in 1974 and it didn’t even last a year! The twice-a-year clock change isn’t ideal, but it’s necessary.

The flip side

Thank you to my co-worker, who helped me move some heavy boxes so I would not hurt my back again like I did a few months ago. I really appreciate that he was so willing to assist.
