Miami University returns to Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl for second year in a row

Miami University is returning to the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl.It will be the second time in a row that the RedHawks will play in the bowl, after emerging victorious last year in a dominant 43-17 performance over the Colorado State Rams.This year, Miami will play Fresno State University in the game, which is scheduled for Dec. 27 at 4:30 p.m.Like last year, the game will be played at Arizona Stadium in Tucson and will be sponsored by Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop.It is the second time the game will be sponsored by the liquor company owned by hip hop superstars Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Prior to 2024, the Arizona Bowl was sponsored by Barstool Sports.Miami University finished the regular season this year with a 7-5 record, going 6-2 in conference play. The record was enough to qualify the team for the MAC conference championship game, where the RedHawks fell short 23-13 on Saturday to the Western Michigan Broncos.Meanwhile, Fresno State finished its season with an 8-4 record, going 5-3 in the Mountain West Conference.Last year, Snoop Dogg himself was present for the bowl, leading the band during the game’s halftime show. He also presented Miami University with the game’s trophy while cruising onto the field in a low-rider.It is not yet known if Snoop Dogg intends to reappear at this year’s bowl game.The game will be broadcast on The CW.
